Mark Schwartz – Creative Director

A graduate from the prestigious Julliard School of Music and a recognized genius, Mark Schwartz brings a rich tapestry of artistic influence to DEIJIDESIGN. As a protégé of cultural icons like Andy Warhol, famed for his revolutionary Pop Art, and Roger Vivier, the innovator behind the stiletto heel, Schwartz’s creative vision is vast and varied.

His work draws significant inspiration from the architectural elegance and the luxurious geometric forms of the Art Deco period, which thrived in the 1920s and 1930s. This influence is vividly reflected in DEIJIDESIGN’s signature collections, including the Cleopatra and Elizabeth I Bags, crafted from Schwartz’s vibrant oil-based paintings on canvas. His bespoke Denim Jacket Collection and the Maria and Isabella T-Shirts further showcase his unique artistic approach.

Additionally, Schwartz has designed iconic footwear for celebrities like Lady Gaga, JLo, and Oprah Winfrey, to name a few.

Riva Wilkins – President & Designer

Riva Wilkins has been at the forefront of DEIJIDESIGN, steering it as a culmination of a career spanning marketing, sales management, entertainment, and technology. Having collaborated with luminaries across music, fashion, and entertainment, Riva brings a lifetime of design experience to the table. Her personal inspiration stems from the ever-changing seasons, whose colors and textures are woven into the fabric of her designs.

The synergy between Wilkins and Schwartz is palpable—they have been friends and collaborators for years, designing DEIJIDESIGN’s exquisite luxury accessories together. Their collaborative spirit is best encapsulated when Wilkins shares, “We bounce ideas off of each other, and that’s when the real magic happens.”
